about
TeV95 & Admiral Grey is an electronic music duo based in Brooklyn, NY. Formed in 2011, the duo met while Admiral Grey and her projects Glass Lamborghini, I Feel Awesome and Duck & Swallow began rehearsing at 95Labs—a media collective and creative workspace operated by TeV95—in Brooklyn during the fall of 2010.
After recording and mixing a song for her solo project I Feel Awesome, TeV95 became interested in featuring Admiral's vocals on a semi-instrumental Hip Hop record he was producing. When the two got together to record, they unexpectedly ended up cutting their first single "It's Good," experimenting with a post-dub electronic house sound, which was a bit different from each of their traditional style.
On their next meeting they recorded "Me To You," a catchy record with an indie pop sound. Intrigued by Admiral's unique vocals and energetic synths, TeV95 suggested the two form a duo and release a 4-song EP on his new label So Rad.
The complete TeV95 & Admiral Grey EP is now available and includes instrumentals and accapellas for your remixing pleasure.
